Elite Heating and Air is professional and dependable, we are the name that North Georgia trusts for heating and air services. Elite Heating & Air is properly trained and certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

2009
Our Business Started
Tim started his HVAC career as a young adult in 2003 working for Lanier Air out of
Cumming, GA.
In 2009, after marrying and starting a family, Tim decided to leave Lanier to start Elite Heating & Air. This decision was made so that he could provide more for his growing family and establish a homebased business in Dawsonville, Tim’s hometown.
Lanier Air’s founder & owner remained a mentor and was a great supporter of Tim going out on his own.
In 2014, Lanier Air’s owner decided to retire and sold Tim Lanier which was merged with Elite.
Our Family
While Lindsay is a Lumpkin County native, Tim was born and raised in Dawsonville. They have been married since 2009 and have raised their three children in the very same home that Tim has lived his entire life, on a road named after his grandfather. Tim’s Dawson County roots go back for generations and he is proud to serve and support his hometown.
All three of their children have attended the Dawson County School District since Pre-K.
Their oldest son is a recent DCHS graduate, class of 2025. Their youngest son will graduate DCHS in 2028. Their only daughter will graduate DCHS in 2030.
Tim and his family love to travel in their spare time with road trips being a favorite. They love to find a destination to visit and see how many other sites they can fit in along the way, always traveling a di^erent route back home to maximize their sites. The family (especially Lindsay) also has a deep fondness for Jekyll Island, GA and tries to escape there at least once a year.
Community Awards & Recognition
Elite has been extremely involved with sponsorships with the Dawson County School System every year since their oldest son started school in 2011.
Elite has made numerous financial contributions to Black’s Mill Elementary Schools PTOs for events such as Trunk or Treats, Santa Nights, Father-Daughter Dances & Mother-Son Nights.
In September of 2016, Elite sponsored the rebranding of Black’s Mill Elementary School by providing funds to repaint the lunchroom mural and add a 12ft tall painted Bear to the hallway outside the cafeteria to provide a photo op area for the school.
In May of 2019, Elite made a large donation to the Dawson County FFA Chapter to go
towards a new livestock trailer.
In October of 2020, Elite was awarded the Georgia Association of Elementary School
Principals Educational Patron Award.
In September of 2022, Elite made a large donation to the Dawson County High School’s JROTC Program.
In October of 2022, the Dawson County Board of Education awarded Elite the Partner In Education Award.
Elite continues to support the Dawson County School System by donating to numerous sports, including the DC Competition Cheerleaders, the DC Football Touchdown Club, Tiger Softball, Tiger Fishing, Sideline Cheerleaders, JROTC Teams, DC Golf Teams & DC Basketball Teams, to name a few.
Elite has also supported the schools by sponsoring special events such as the DCHS
Senior Adulting Day.
Future Plans
Elite plans to continue to serve the Dawson County community in the residential &
commercial HVAC industry until retirement. Upon Tim’s retirement, they plans to keep Elite a family business by passing it on to their three children.
